Integrated systemThe will to raise the company requirements aimed at protecting the environment and the workers' occupational health and safety, has also determined the decision to create a "quality/environment/safety integrated system" responding to standards UNI-EN-ISO 14001:2004, CE 761/2001 EMAS and BS OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series). Care for the environmentIn the effort to conjugate economical development and support to the environment, in 2006 Meccanica Sbarzaglia installed a 50kW photovoltaic plant, widened by 66kW in 2009. Thanks to the installation of further 100kW scheduled for 2010, the company will become energy independent. Also the new outbuilding of imminent construction hosting the company offices will be eco-compatible according to the dictates of modern bio-housing.
